From its founding in 1973 to the present, Coastal Tree Experts Inc., has been dedicated to offering the latest scientific advancements in the professional care of trees.

Coastal Tree was founded in 1973 by Bob Rogers, a native of Westport, Ct. Graduating with honors from the University of Connecticut, he received his bachelors degree in Natural Resource Conservation. He served his internship with the Connecticut Park and Forest commission ( later renamed Dept. of Environmental Protection). He was also employed by the U.S. Forest service where he helped conduct Forest Pathology Research Surveys in the Pacific Northwest.

Bob's son, Eric, joined Coastal Tree in 1997, and currently manages all operations while Bob sits poolside in Florida. After serving with the U.S. Marines, Eric attended and graduated from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. With his thorough training in the latest arboriculture techniques and advancements, Eric keeps abreast of latest developments and the quickly occurring changes in the arborist's world.
